Quality is our passion. Safety is our priority.
At Mirabella Farms, we’re as committed to food safety as we are to the quality, sweetness and taste of the grapes we produce. It’s a commitment that permeates every aspect of our culture.
Not only do we conduct regular internal safety audits, we undergo external auditing by independent, third-party inspectors to ensure that every grape is safe and wholesome for our customers. From complete traceability to full compliance with the highest safety standards available, Mirabella Farms’ food safety program is comprehensive, innovative and powerfully effective.
Our program meets or exceeds such proven safety standards as:
- Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) – standards established by the USDA and FDA to minimize microbial safety hazards in fresh fruits and vegetables.
- GlobalGAP – a worldwide set of uniform food safety standards, covering all processes from the time of planting to when the products leave the farm. Food Safety Certificate
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) – a set of FDA safety guidelines for the processing and packaging of food products.
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) – a system for assessing potential food safety risks and recommending controls to minimize those risks.
